As a teenager, I was blessed to be able to attend an entire year of modeling classes. It enabled me to learn to carry myself along a tall and strong path even if I was 1/2 an inch too short for runway models. This company in those years was called Plaza 3 Modeling and Talent Agency. They were situated in the Albuquerque New Mexico area then.
Our fresh and fun years of youth are fleeting and go quickly!
There are agencies that do not have their clients best interests in mind, and some that will fleece their own pockets instead of actually helping their clients find incredible opportunities and success. Please research other agencies completely before signing any documents.
Even though this is only one link , the industry is looking for people of all ages shapes and sizes! You no longer have to be 6 feet tall and weigh 98 pounds soaking wet!

Over the years, and learning about Indigenous Peoples, I began to revisit the original Wild West movies, and started laughing at the very incorrect stereotypes of Indigenous Peoples and their cultural dress. Every time I watched a movie in the desert, running full speed, axe wielding, on western wild Paints and Appaloosas , dressed in Mohawk , it made me laugh! Mohawk Nation is a North Eastern Tribe of the American Continent.
They were not dressed in historically correct attire. It let me realize the mistakes of producers true understanding of Native Cultures.
During the French and Indian War, one particular tribe was paid by the French Government, $3.00 for each scalp of their enemies. They were not really the culprits of this behavior, in that time $3.00 was more than a 2 week pay . A person then was lucky to make.25 cents a week.
So as you sit down and watch the old timer movies, entertain your funny bones! It will make our difficult history just a little easier in that ignorance of the past.
